Does Windows 2000 Professional support hyperthreading in conjunction
with Intel's new hyperhtreading capable CPU's? I have been told that
XP supports hyperthreading but that it is not well documented in W2K
Pro.

There is no "official" support for "HT" in Windows 2000. The HT CPU is
simply seen as 2 CPU's and is treated as such. If the way Windows 2000
handles HT causes problems for you, the official fix is to disable HT in
BIOS. If you require "true" HT support then you will be needing to
upgrade to XP, which does support HT technology.
