Hyperterm settings change

Hi all, I am tryng to use hypererminal to dial into a
connection.... My settings are 7,e,1 and when I start the
function of dialing it all reverts back to 8,N,1...I have
changed all defaults to what I want yet this happens ever
time.... on All three machines using XP.... Any help out
there..

Known problem with Hyperterminal. No fix that I know of.

You might want to try Hyperterminal Personal Edition instead; it's a
free upgrade to Hyperterminal and has more options. Go to
www.hilgraeve.com to download. Once installed it will replace
Hyperterminal and associate itself with all your *.HT files.

If that doesn't work for you, I suggest looking for another program to
dial into the connection. I use Net Term for dialup and also for
telnet. Go to http://securenetterm.com/ and click on the Net Term
button. Net Term is shareware - try before you buy. Excellent
program.
