When you goto insert a hyperlink and the hyperlink box appears, there is a button that says browsed pages. There are pages listed here that were visted years ago. How do you clear out the browsed pages

Thank you.

If you clear your History in your Web Browser it will
clear all the browsed files.

Hope this helps

Thanks. I tried this -- actually I clear my history out every few days. These web pages are definitely not recent. Any other ideas

Thanks

I think you are looking for the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

Delete the ones you don't want from there.

Did you restart Word/Windows after deleting them?

Thanks for the suggestion, but this still didn't work. I had 3 websites
listed there, deleted them and they are still there. Any other ideas?

Yes, I restarted but still did not work. I wound up downloading a program called Ace Utilities from CNET, and this seemed to cleanup everthing.
