hyperlinks won't work

I can't get any hyperlinks in any program (Outlook
Express, Word, or any other program) to work. They are
colored and look like hperlinks but just won't click.
What do I do?

Let me know what you find out. I can get a hyperlink to
Internet Explorer to work only if I already have an
Internet Explorer window open. Then, some programs, use
that window, and some open a new window.
I'm lost.

Hi,

Goto Start>>Run>>Type "REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL" Then reboot your PC.

After you reboot open Internet Explorer and goto Tools>>Internet
Options>>Programs>>Reset Web Settings.

Connie: You are correct. I did the changes to the file
type for URL and I'm back to normal
