Hyperlinks no longer work

I have recently upgraded users from NT4 and Office 2000, to XP Pro and Office
XP
Several users have noticed that Excel hyperlinks in various s/sheets no
longer work. User access rights/permissions on LAN have not changed and
s/sheet is also unaltered. Excel reports "Cannot open specified file" (the
links generally point to Word docs in lower level folders).
Can anyone help?

I'd check to see what the links point to (just to make sure).

I bet you used insert|hyperlink to make these links.

I've never had trouble with them (but don't use them much). But a few posters
have had trouble.

I like to use the worksheet function =hyperlink().

I've used them lots and never had trouble.

You may want to look at file|properties|summary tab and verify that the
hyperlink base is what it should be, too. (just a silly guess.)
