Hyperlinks in Power Point

I am trying to hyperlink a slide in the same presentation and can do that
however the box to click on to show and return to the original slide is not
an option to check. Is there something I need to be doing to check the Show
& Return option when I Hyperlink another slide?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Make a custom show of the slide you want to link to. Slide show - Custom
show - give it a name or leave the suggested name - select slide - Add - OK.
Now in the insert Hyperlink dialogue, click the custom show you made under
custom shows and check the box show and return.

When I tried this, the custom show does not appear in the insert Hyperlink
dialoge box as an option and the "ok" button is not an option either. Any
ideas?
