Hyperlinks do not work in new email

I am working in Windows XP and an Outlook 2002 environment. I am trying to
copy the contents of one email including hyperlinks into the contents of a
new email. The hyperlinks work fine before I send the new email. However, if
I send that email to another user (and even to myself as a test) the
hyperlinks no longer work. Is there something else I need to do in order for
this to work? FYI, Microsoft Word is set to be my email editor.

Thanks,
Lauren

Are the hyperlinks preceded with BLOCKED:: ?

or are they not hyperlinks in html email? pasting into word will copy the
underline and color but the link won't be hyperlinked until you press space
or enter at the end of the link.

Thank you for your response.

No, the hyperlinks are not preceded with BLOCKED.

When I past the hyperlinks into an email, they links will work when I test
it before the email is sent. However, the receiver of the message can not
activate the links. I tested this by sending the email to myself. I am using
a default HTML for my message format and I do use MS Word as my email editor.
If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks!
Lauren

do they work for the recipient if you press enter or space after the last
letter in the hyperlink?

Hi Diane,

Actually, the receiver can't do anything to the contents unless they click
"reply" to the message. Once this happens, the links work without hitting
enter or return. The recipient just has to click on the link. What can I do
to make the links work without having to hit reply?

Thanks for your help!
