i put some wordart on a page and i want to be able to click on it to go to
another page. But when I hold down control (in "normal" view) and click on
it... the format box with the little circles around the wordart, appears.
BUT... if I hold down control and hold down the left click and swipe my
cursor accross it it will take me to the page I want. BUT... when I try to
preview it... it won't take me to the page when I click on it. Whew! That was
a mouth ful!
Thanks, P~

WordArt, as well as all the features provided by FrontPage and Office
drawing tools, should be avoided in a web page. These all use VML graphics
which can only be viewed in Internet Explorer 5.5 and later, running on
Windows PCs. The down-level graphics provided (assuming you have selected
that option) for other systems and browsers are not very good.

Do a screen dump of your WordArt, paste into Graphics editor (Paint will
do), crop and save as a .jpg or .gif. Import the resulting image into FP
and use that instead. Works in all browsers, and no problems with
hyperlinking.
