Hyperlink vs Security Rules at Active Directory

Hi everybody, I've implemented some rules to make the network more secure.
But one of our teachers have stumbled on that when he creates a hyperlink in
a Word document. The same occurs to Excel. I think it's because of the rule
path on our Active Directory and GPO.

But I can't be sure. I would like to know what elements are related when we
click an hyperlink on that documents. I think the path rule works more with
EXE files, right?

Just to know, we have hash rule to Word as Irresctrict access and also we
have the Word in a white list.

the above seems incomplete to me. Now, this could easily be because
(supposedly) GPO and AD are Greek to me [:)], but *on what* did your
teacher stumble? And what kind of rules did you implement, how, where?

You've hit (what MSFT made) a general purpose Word newsgroup, and even
if your information is complete, it's pretty rare that the folks
supposedly in the know are lurking around here. I'd probably try an
office group (maybe).
