hyperlink to pictures

Hi

I have data in Access that in a form, people can select a port and dock from
a drop down box and get all the information that we have for that dock. I
want to link pictures to certain docks. How is this done?

Add a hyperlink field to the table where the information for the dock is stored then add that field to the form you are using for the dock information. This is of course assuming that port and dock are terms for you locally (possible nautical location) and not some interface in access that I am not aware of.

Thank-you. The picture files are in the same folder as the Access files.
When the picture files open - they open in what looks like an internet page
with my internet history and favourites, etc on it-- is there way to have it
open just the file without an internet page?
