Hyperlink Recalculation keeps removing my custom ASP code.

Hello everyone,

My apologies for this incredibly dumb question... I have inherited the task
of further development of a site that was created in Front Page. I have
added some custom ASP code to one of these pages. Though, I have noted that
at the very top of this page, there is a message advising me not to edit
this part of the page. It says something like:

"FP_ASP ASP Automatically generated by a FrontPage Component. Do not Edit. "

Needless to say, the consequence of adding customizations to this section of
the page, is that any customizations are removed when the site is
"Recalculated".

Does anyone know of a way that I could make it so that my customizations
remain even after the page has been recalculated???

Thanks for any help on this...

uh use a real IDE like dreamweaver?

ms web dev is for kids. they have never taken it seriously-- they're
more interested in selling us WEBDAV than making FTP work.

MS is just on crack and doesn't deserve to be in business any longer.

i mean-- FP hoses Sharepoint.

i just think that MS is kinda crazy and misguided

The site / page is using the Database Results Wizard so most customization needs to be done in Design View (right click the Database
region for DBR properties
For other customizations you can only edit the "grayed" webbot code in code view
