HYPERLINK Question still not answered?

Recently I have been having trouble whenever I type an email address or web
address in Word...

What happens for example is that it looks like this:

{HYPERLINK"malito:[email protected]"

How do I change this option that it gives me a highlighted blue link rather
than all of this other wording?
 
IIRC, your question *has* been answered, but in any case, the answer is to
press Alt+F9 to toggle the view from field codes (what you're seeing) to
field results.
