Hyperlink problems in Mircosoft Frontpage

Hi,
My name is shane. I'm having problems with Mircosoft Front page crashing
AND I'm getting it repaired. My main problem with a new site I'm posting
apart from picture display problems is broken hyperlinks. In the program on
my desktop the site links work perfectly., but of course on the web they
don't. Can someone help
in solving this problem

If you cannot see your images, flash files etc then check your code. Are the links
relative to the document or to the site root or even to your own computer?
e.g -

.../images/sample.jpg or /images/sample.jpg

"file:///Users/yourpc/My Documents/flash.swf" - this is linking to a file on your computer
and not to a file on the server.



Have you uploaded your images to the server?

Better, instead of trying to guess, why not post the link to the page, so we
can see the code?

When working in FP, make sure that you always use File Menu | Open Web / Site first, then work on
your content. This will make sure that you do not have link to content that point back to your local
HD from the live/remote web site.
