When I get an emila, I can click on the hyperlink to a website, but I can not
click on the hyperlink to an email, so I can reply. I have to copy it and
start a new mail. I use Office 2000 professional.

is the address "live" and clickable? if I recall correctly, outlook 2000
needed the addresses formatted with a mailto to turn into hyperlinks.

Hi Diane,
Thanks for your reply. I do not know what you mean? All I know is that in
your reply, I can clik on the website address and it will take me there. If
it is an e-mail address I get a response that says "The command line argument
is not valid. Verify the switch you are using".

If you send me an e-mail and it is is www.delevideo.com I can clik on that
with no problem. If you send me an e-mail (e-mail address removed) I will not be
able to click on that to send you an e-mail.

If the address is not live and clickable, how do I do dthat. By the way,
this problems occurs with all e-mails I get.

so its email addresses that are not clickable? it sounds like the mailto
is screwed up - either in the windows association or in the email client
that is sending the messages.

does it happen in html and plain text message?

Yes it does.
