Hydravision - Dual Displays for ATI AIW 9800 Pro

I am using the All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro AGP with 128 megs of memory.
I have a CRT plugged in as the primary display and a TV set via S-video
cable pluged in as my secondary display.
(I also have a pci TV Wonder Pro card for Multview)

About Hydravision.... would I get any benefts by running it? Does it only
work with TWO VGA monitors? Or will I get benefits from it using one VGA
CRT monitor and a TV (as my secondary display)?

I'm running Multimedia Centre 8.5 (though I could upgrade). Currently I
don't have Hydravision installed.

Thanks

I'm outputing to a VGA CRT and a TV set via svideo cable (from my All In
Wonder Pro 9800 AGP card). Windows doesn't seem to provide anything except
the ability to drag one application (or more) to the 2nd display.

Do you know if Hydravisions "features" will work for me even though I'm not
running two VGA displays?

Thanks for your input!

I assume the tv is simply the monitor attached to the second display (at
least as far as windows goes) and you are running an extended desktop across
both monitors? So exactly what do you expect HydraVision to add? About all
I noticed it'd do is "remember" that specific apps open on "this" montior
rather than always on the primary display and can force maximize to desktop
(span across both monitors) rather than display (only really usefull if
running same size and res monitor) . I think it also provides optional
virtual desktops but can't remember for sure. If that fits your expectations
and your work habits great. For me, it doesn't. Note : I run 98SE, feature
set may differ under other OS's.

I run 1280x1024 on 19" primary (maxs at 1792x1344) and 1024x768 on 15"
secondary (maxs at 1280x1024). As I run 2 separate video cards (Radeon and
Xpert98) my tv is always simply the TV-Out from Radeon at 800x600 (when
used). Therefore things like theatre, clone mode etc. don't apply for me.

There's the very odd game that allows me to select which card to run on and
seems to use 3daccel even if I choose the Xpert!!! There's also the odd DX
game that selects the Xpert98 by default therefore I have to disable it
before playing said game(s) if I want it to use the Radeon. OpenGl games
don't work at all unless the Xpert is disabled.
