Hi... just did a whole bunch of updates.. and after doing
so whenever my system goes to screen saver.. it tells me
I have to put my password in again.. and tells me how
many programs are running in the back ground.. I don't
want this .. if my system goes into hybernation.. I just
want to pick up where I left off.. How do i fix this?

Turn off the "On resume, display Welcome Screen" feature:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
Click the Screen Saver tab, click to clear the On Resume, display
Welcome screen check box.

(and)

Configure your computer to not prompt you to type a password when you resume
from standby:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Power Options.
On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby check box, and then click OK.

Open Power Options in the Control Panel. On the Advanced tab remove the
check from "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby."
