Huge survey -requires many forms and tables

I am creating a database for a survey with over 800 fields. I had to
make 5 tables and many forms to enter all the data. Each survey is
filled out by one person so there is a one-to-one relationship between
the primaryID and the ID in each table.
I want to enter the primaryID once and pass it between tables. I am
hoping not to use subforms, as I have made 43 forms and do not want to
make them over. Is there a simple method using a query or a command to
pass the ID from one table to the next?
