Hi

I'm using this newsletter template. However, even if I have start task pane
deslected in Tools/Options/View when I open the newsletter that I've been
working on the task pane opens. I'm about to mail this out to people, so obv
don't want them to open it and have the task pane pop up also.

Is there anything else I can so to make the newletter more professional in
terms of 'locking' it or making it open in a certain way?

Grateful of your help

regards

Jon

Hi Jon,

The 'Template Help' taskpane default appearance is controlled
in Word 2003 through Help=>Customer Feedback Options=>Online Content.
What triggers it appears to be a custom file property in
the download template.

With the file open use File=>Properties=>Custom and look
for a property of _TemplatID in the 'Properties' box.
Highlight it, click [Delete] then close & save your template/
document.

When you reopen it the online Taskpane check should not appear.
