Been trying to get on to pcreview but kept getting the following HTTP 500 & HTTP 404 coming up.
Anyone else had the same problems today?

Has Mr Ian run out of 50p for the meter?
Or has the server just been crashing & re-starting?

How long was the error there for? I'm running through the logs now to see what was up.

Has it just been intermittent, or for hours at a time?

OK thats not good at all then, I've tweaked a few things to see if that sorts it. The servers were behaving well for a while so its disappointing that it's messing up now.

If anyone spots any more problems, let me knowand I'll work on it :)

Thanks Mucks, I'm going to be working on this all today I think. I've put in place a monitor that should fix an error within 1 minute, but won't stop it from happening. Was it only for a minute or so?

no, just 10-20 seconds ... but I gave up yesterday tryin to connect.

I really think the 'server' has had some 'update' that is causing this ... if you had seen the early ones & do a google, it points to a PHP MS conflict.

Bare in mind, I'm no expert, I just used google.

I've got the host working on the server now :D The site shouldn't go down for more than a min if something does go wrong, as I've put more monitoring things in place.

If the problems do carry on then I'm going to seriously consider going for a fully managed server so it's not my problem anymore

Yeah the server is managed, but I might need to go one step further and get a company that can troubleshoot any software things via a complete "solution" rather than a managed server.
