HTTP 1.1 settings

Under my Tools|Internet Options|Advance|HTTP 1.1 settings, neither box is
checked (both clear). When I check on the 'Use HTTP 1.1' settings, the
setting doesn't 'stick' after re-boot/close of browser. Isn't 1.1 a newer
version of 1.0 (developed in the late 1990's) and are the settings
interchangeable (invisible to the user) when one visits a 1.0 developed
website and a 1.1 developed website? MS Knowledgebase doesn't seem to make
it clear as to when to "use what or how." I noticed the www.pcpitstop.com
website tells you that you are using an 'older version of HTTP settings'
(HTTP 1.0) when you do an in-depth 'checkup' on your computer. So, any help
here would be appreciated. TIA, Capt

Nope, Gregg, not using Desktop Sidebar. Not sure what I'd get if I use the
1.0 setting with the proxy server either. Probably cause issues elsewhere,
huh?

You should use HTTP 1.1.
