html strip/viewer

Hi,

Any suggestion for a html plain text viewer. That is a program you
can open with some html but which will strip the tags and just display
the plain text. I have programs that will batch process but not any
that is a viewer.

To explain my email program is plain text only which I like for
security. However it does make viewing the odd html email I get a
pain so I was wondering about an external viewer, but not a browser!

TIA

Thanks for that but I already have this program and its not quite what
I want since AFAIK it will open the html temp file in the current open
Notepad (as long with all the other files open), or if not open will
start Notepad and open my last set of files. Then I have to run the
html strip routine which applies to all open files (although perhaps I
could edit the script to stop that happening, I haven't looked).
Overall though its not a "viewer" unless there is a way to open a
second notepad and run a script automatically.

PureText might work. It converts whatever you paste to pure text, so
an extra step of pasting into a text editor is required. It does use a
hot key of your choice though:

ctrl/A - mark all text
ctrl/C - copy marked text

hot key - convert to text and paste into editor

This is a very nice and small program.
