HTML Page

When I open a file from my tool bar, it opens totally in HTML. If I open the
same file from within my Web site, I can get all 4 views, design, code,
split, and HTML. What did I do wrong?? Bill

Which toolbar?? Recent Documents on the Start Menu??
If so, it is because you don't have a web open, simply a page in the html
editor.

Always open a web and then a page. It will prevent a lot of problems.

Thanx for taking ur time Steve.

By default, the last web site I worked on opens when I start the Frontpage
program. I typically don't use the recent document from the start menu. I do
however use the folder directly beneath the File (start Menu) which is
provided in the standard tools view.

If and when I use that "file" icon, I get the HTML page. When I go within
the already open web site folders screen and click on the file(s) in
question, it'll open as all the other pages (files) I created. There are only
2 pages(files) that are giving me this challenge. These same 2 pages (files)
I may have published to see how they performed and such in the server. Does
this make a diff?

Grr, now that I try to forward the page, it opens correctly. This problem
comes and goes, sorta like I'm not closing it correctly or something so
stupid like that. At any rate, thanx for your time again.

Should I still send a copy??
