html not recognised(receipt)

Dear group first off all many thanks to the organizers of the group.
My problem is this'''we tried to send you a message using html
formatting but your e mail prog,does not recognise html''what could be
wrong please? I am using Outlook 2003(also happens in Outlook Express)
and using Windows XP Home and web based e-mail in Bulldog broadband.

The person to whom you are sending email is not using an HTML aware mail
client.

It could be Outlook 97 (no HTML support until 98) or Pine (plain text only)
or a personal preference.

Not everyone appreciates dancing flowers and oom-pah-pah band music in their
email so they turn off the option to receive HTML.
