THANK YOU DON, What about compatability,(I have IE xp home edition).will it
over write,I am scared of that.Is IE 6. will it ideal for html?

Hi,
The browser, whether it's IE6, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, etc. will display
HTML files. A HTML editing/composing program won't overwrite your browser.
It's a separate program.

I like these sites for HTML tutorials:
http://www.aumha.org/sitemap.htm
http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

I like these free HTML editors. They don't make the webpage for you. You
will have to learn HTML.
EasyHTML http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/ehtmle.htm
Max's HTML Beauty http://www.htmlbeauty.com/
Ace HTML Freeware
http://software.visicommedia.com/en/products/acehtmlfreeware/

Good HTML editors which aren't free:
Microsoft Front Page http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/
Dreamweaver http://www.macromedia.com/go/gnavtray_dwmx_home
There are *many* others.

You might try one of the free programs first, to see if you really want to
learn HTML.

Hope this helps,
Don

Hi,
Any browser will open HTM / HTML files. That's what they do. Are you looking
for an HTML editor? HTML editors allow you to write the HTML code which
makes up webpages.

Hope this helps,
