HP Printersoftware uninstall

Hi currently have the Vista 32bit full package of SW installed for the
HP7180 wireless all in one. After some problems I decided to uninstall and
reinstall the SW as I could not launch the solution center kept getting a
parser error.

The SW won't uninstall from Control Panel or the SW uninstall routine.
Nothing happens. Even trying to run the SW uninstall from the original
driver file has the same effect even in safe mode.

Any ideas on how I can remove the SW?

Do you have any understanding of Windows registry? If you are, you can
uninstall it manually.

Thanks Jonathan I do although due to some other issues I just reformatted in
the end. Ty for your suggestion.

One workaround that often is effective when Add/Remove Programs does
not work is to reinstall the program on top of the old one then try to
remove it -- then do a clean install.

Have you tried using Run as administrator? Find the HP Uninstall option in
the Start Menu. Right click on it and pick Run as administrator.

The only way you might fix it is to first install the stuff again, then try
the uninstall.
