hp printer - no power

i'm having this problem with my printer (hp deskjet
1220C) that is attach to my computer-windows xp. It
started 2 days ago and my printer dont want to start
(means no power even you switch it on). Last 2 days it
took about 1/2 hour to on and now i waited for 1 and 1/2
days for the power to start.

I don't know if this got to do with my computer or any
other problems occur. But in the icon it stated online
not offline. What is going on?

I want to print to other printer Lexmark Z13 (which is
connected to other computer) but it came out nothing
printed on the paper. WHYYYYYY????

1) Printer appears to have died. Replace it.

2) Is it shared correctly?

1. If your printer gets it power from the wall socket and not from
the computer, then this has nothing to do with XP. Contact the
manufacturer about it.

2. Multiple possibilities; could be the ink is dried up in the
cartridge, the jets are clogged, the drivers are screwed up, etc.
There is just no telling.
