HP printer drivers not installing as user

I am trying to install a HP Deskjet 6122 and the printer
drivers in XP as a user, not administrator or power user.
I need to find a way around this as the systems are
locked down to prevent non-computer people from screwing
them up too badly.

Is there a way so the drivers will install without
administrator login?

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the only way this can be done is for the administrator account to
be used to change the rights of users to allow installation of printers. It
seems to me that you are trying to do just what the administrator is trying
to prevent, i.e. user changes to the basic system.

That being said, let me add that I am no expert on XP networking.
