hp printer driver hpw8c32.dll file is needed?

After installing the Windows Service Pack and restarting
my desktop appeared with a message that my printers has
not passed Windows logo testing. When I clicked Continue
installation, it asked for hpw8c32.dll file which I can't
find in the hp cd and the hp online driver for my printer
hp deskjet 1220cxi.
What I am confused is I wasn't installing the printer
driver at all and the printer still prints well after I
clicked cancel. But this message keeps showing up after I
restart my computer.
I have checked that the driver is for windows xp.
How do I stop this?

On the CD and HP file it will probably be in a compacted form....

Do a search on your PC for the file in question (including hidden and system
files). Once you've found where it is, remember the location. When XP asks
again where the file is, you will be able to point it in the correct
location.
