HP LaserJet 1500 Color

I'm looking at getting an HP LaserJet 1500 Color laser for
use in a remote office. They live at the wrong end of a
dial up link.

This printer says it comes with "Host Based" drivers.

Are these anything like the drivers that bubblejets use?

I'm tring to replace the bubble jets because they are too
unreliable over the slow link. B&W Lasers work fine but
this site wants color - so I'm thinking cheap color laser
here.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I would be weary about installing printer drivers on your
terminal server. If those drivers crash, then your entire
system will crash also. You might, instead, want to edit
your ntprint.inf file to manually force the system to use
the LaserJet 4 drivers for your LaserJet 1500 Color
printer.
