hp k60

Hi,
I just changed from W95 to XP and downloaded the latest drivers for the HP
k60. I have lost my most used function!

There used to be on the "director" the command "scan to e mail".
It's gone and I cannot find how to do that in any way. It was sooo
convenient i'd like to get it back. Anyone know how??

Also, should I be posting this to some other newsgroup insstead of here??

Thanks,

Ted

If you kept the printer connected during the upgrade, the drivers got
corrupted. Do a total uninstall and reinstall:

Since it's an All in One unit, there are some extra bits to do....

Ensure you also delete any separate scanning and fax software from the
Control Panel.

Ensure you also delete the Fax drivers from the Drivers tab in Server
Properties.

If it's a scanner as well, go to Device Manager, (right click on My
Computer, select Properties, look in the Hardware tab and click on Device
Manager), scroll down to the line "Imaging Device" and click on the + to
expand the tree... right click and uninstall the scanning device.

Reboot the PC.

Download a new set of drivers from: the HP website at:

Follow the installation instructions at the HP website at:
