HP 9200C network scanner DHCP

This HP 9200 works if the Linksys router is DHCP server, but does not see
the server's store folder if the server (Windows 2003) is the DHCP server.
It also does not work if set to a fixed IP.

Of course I'd rather not use the router for DHCP. Does anybody have
experience with these things?

Oh, and of course the fixed IP I tried was outside the pool.

I didn't know the thing had a web interface. I just came across a reference
to that, so I'll have more evidence to check tomorrow.
