HP 820 CSE

While the dirvers are listed when I go to add this
printer, I cannot print from my HP 820 CSE. Any
suggestions? It isn't detecting it as pnp and when I
install the driver manually, it still doesnt' work.

I have XP pro.

If you are connecting it via a parallel cable to the LPT port....

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. In the Hardware tab,
select Device Manager. Scroll down to the Com and LPT ports entry and click
on the + to expand the tree.

Double click on the entry for the LPT port.

In the second tab, Port Settins, put a check mark in Enable Legacy Plug and
Play detection.
