HOWTO: VB.NET 2005 - DataGridView - Multirow display of a single data row

Sam Malone

Does anyone know if it's possible to display a single row of data within the
DataGridView using tow (or more) lines/rows on the screen?
I know there are third party products that do it but I need/want to use the
DataGridView supplied as part of VS.NET 2005.

What I'm trying to do is avoid horizontal scrolling so, if there's too much
data to show on one screen width, I'd like a second (or more) row of cells
on the screen that would normally be off the screen to the right. Obviously
that would imply a second (or more) Column Header row too.

Thanks
