hi guys ..
i need some help here ... ive a laptop whos hdd crashed & i had to replace
it...now ive the xp pro cd that came with the system for installation .. the
problem is .. my disc drive is screwed & the manufacturer cant find a
replacement atleast in the near future .. so the only option i see is to boot
via lan .. which i do see in the bios(RealTek PXE Boot) .. only thing is ive
no clue as to how to do this.. a rough search on google dint give me much
....anyway ive a desktop system running win xp pro sp2 ..
can u guys give a briefing on howto boot the xp from my existing pc via lan
& thereby install xp on my sytsem thru lan .. atleast point me to some
articles ..
