How/where to locate drivers for nVidia Riva TNT2 in 98SE - Heeeelp!

Normally I am able to locate drivers for fairly much any hardware for a PC.
This time, fresh install of 98SE and the box has a Gigabyte GA-622-32C flavour
of nVidia Riva TNT2 M64 video card. I have just spent four hours trawling the
web, and discovered that this card is more generic than corn flakes. Everybody
seems to have made a video adaptor around the same core chipset.

Many Google hits pointed me to www.nvidia.com. There I was continually directed
to the "unified" driver (all 10.7MB of it) which turned out to be of no use
whatsoever, with Win98SE turning up its nose at any attempt to get more than
basic 640*480 out of it.

Even more google hits showed bulletin boards full of requests for drivers for
these boards by various makers.

Does anyone have a pointer to a a possible driver for this card?

I knew that would work. Does every time.

Had tried releases 56.xx, 66.xx and 71.xx which all crashed and burned. About
five minutes after posting the above, tried beta of 45.xx and it works a treat.

Murphy at his best.
