How user quota is counted on windows 2000

Suppose a user is created on windows 2000 domain 1. so user
gets a sid. When this user migrates to another domain then
the user gets new sid and the old sid is stored on
sidHistory attributes. So the user can access the previous
resource. Can you please tell me how windows counts the
user quotas? whether for the both domains or the latest
domain? Does it count the quota per SID or per user ?
 
The quota is counted per SID. The domain policy only applies to the domain
the user authenticates to.
