how to use the "find" option in a form with *?

I have created several forms and using the find option. But everyone wants
to be able to only write the beginning of the name then * so that it search
for the entire word. We have long string of words and would be easier if we
could do this.
Does this make sense to anyone?

Use "Like", then they won't even have to enter the asterick.
