The spellcheck does not check certain text because it says the text has been
marked as ignore from spellchecking. How do I remove that ignore feature from
the tex to allow spellchecking on it?

What I've done once, is delete the word, then retype something else. Save it
and then go back and retype the original word. save it with changes.
Couse that's probably not the right thing to do. But it was quick.

In Word 2002 or 2003, open the document that has this problem. Press
Ctrl+A to select all of the text. Click on Tools | Language | Set
Language | <choose your language> | uncheck the "Detect language
automatically" and "Do not check spelling or grammar" boxes | Default |
OK. If you are prompted to save changes to your Normal.dot global
template when you close Word, say yes.

Version of Word - which you don't mention - "could" make a difference as to
where you'll find the setting that is most likely the cause, but try
Control+A (Select All) then check Tools> Language> Set Language & clear the
checkbox for "Do not check...". If that doesn't correct it be sure to
specify Word version when you reply.
