How to unlock PC

I have Windows XP and when I start up it says the computer
is locked. And only the administrator can unlock the PC. I
am the administrator and cannot unlock the PC. I can get
onto the internet but can't use Outlook It tells me (MAPI
spooler could not be started) Also when I go to log off
and switch users it tells me the computer is locked and
the other user cannot even get into the PC. I'm pretty
much brain dead when it comes to PC's and how they work so
if anybody has a clue to what I'm asking and can help me
out that would be much appreciated.

You need to log on as 'The Administrator' not an account with Administrator Priveledges

You can click on START>LOGOF
as the system resarts use ctrl+alt+del to logon as the administrator
