Mindy,
This happens if the Uninstall information is missing for that program(s)
which you're trying to uninstall. The file install.log or uninstall.log (or
any other name) holds the uninstall information for a software. Best course
of action is to reinstall the application in the same path (so that the
uninstall information is re-created) and perform a uninstall again.
OTOH, the application may have been removed successfully, but the Add/Remove
entries remain. In such case, see:

Use a third-party utility such as System Mechanic (
www.iolo.com) and cleanup
the Add/Remove listings.

I am trying to uninstall several programs from the
(Add/Remove Program) and it keeps coming up
