I cannot finfd Win SP3 in my add/remove progams. How do I uninstall it?

Tried the workarounds on the MS KB boards, but still cannot find it to
remove.

Thanks,

Was it already integrated into Windows when Windows was installed?

Have you definitely got it installed? Start > Run > type "winver" <CR> to
check.

If you have tried everything in the Microsoft KnowledgeBase article
(concerning SP3 removal - see below) and Windows XP SP3 wasn't integrated at
the initial install - (or if it was and you think you really need to remove
SP3 for Windows XP) - then you are left with one choice.

Format and install clean with installation media that does not include
Windows XP SP3.

The Microsoft KB article about Windows XP SP3 removal:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950249

Come back - let everyone know more information and/or how things went for
the removal. This message is archived indefinitely and your response could
help somone else in the future.

Unless of course the disk/factory image is at the SP3 level, then it is not
listed or removable.

Is there a particular issue you think will be resolved by removing
SP3?
