How to understand lunar symbols outlook 2003

I added the japanese , lunar choice to my outlook calendar so I could see the
phases of the moon there, but all see is boxes that don't seem to correlate
to the full moon, how do interpret these symbols?

I used the Hebrew lunar and went by numbers - 1, 7, 14, 21 represent the
main phases. Or you can import a lunar calendar -
