I have an Excel worksheet of 750 entries, one column being names in the
format of Last, First Initial. This worksheet changes daily as
projects are being cancelled and added. I need a way to change the
names into email addresses. I do have outlook at my disposal and it
contains all the email addresses I need. ANY suggestion would be
helpful. I am stuck.

There may be a way to do this, within Excel itself. But if there is, it
required an ability to use Excel that went beyond my own. I bought a $29.95
shareware program called Email Address Collector, available for download at
www.emailaddressmanager.com, that works perfectly. I'm not connected with
that company in any way. I just needed to do the same thing you want to do,
and I found that Email Address Manager will do it.

Are they all in the same domain? IF not, you have a problem.

And do all the email addresses transcribe nicely from say

Jones, P

to

P.Jones

or similar?

It "harvests" email addresses from documents. I use it to collect the email
addresses from people who send me emails, asking to subscribe to an online
newsletter; and I then send them emails, notifying them when the newsletter
has been updated.

It also will harvest email addresses from Address Books and from documents
of various kinds.

In your case, you said you have Outlook and it has all the email addresses
you need. I imagined you disregarding your Excel list, and instead using
Email Address Collector to get the addresses you want from the Address Book
module of Outlook.

dont use excel for data entry.

a) keep your data in a database
b) access talks to outlook in ways that would make you freak
c) dont use excel for data entry
d) you write a simple query-- sql statement-- in order to join data to
email addresses. lol g2g cio here
