How to trigger a broadcast

Hi!
To force the routing tables in my switches to update after
a network change, I need to send a brodcast message from
one station in my network.
Is there any way to trigger a broadcast from the command
line, or from any other Win2000 parameter?

Any type of broadcast message addressed to *.255 will do.

Try to e.g ping broadcast address or trigger NetBIOS broadcast query by, say
"net view \\bogus-name"
