How to transfer an import specification from one database to anoth

I have created an import specification in one database. Now I have another
database that needs the same import specification. Instead of reinventing
the wheels, how do I transfer import specification from one database to
another database

Siew-Ming,

Open the database that you want to have the Import Specifications. Select
File|Get External Data|Import and then slect the database that has the
Import Specifications that you want. Then when the Window opens up in the
lower left hand corner select Import/Export Specs and click OK. That should
do it.

Got it. Thanks so much.

Open the db that needs the import spec. File > get external data > import >
select file name (where your import spec is) > options. Uncheck import
relationships. Check import import/export specs. Click ok.
