How to take out the pilcrow sign

When I write an new email or reply an email, the pilcrow sign always show on every end of line and the dot ( . ) always show when I hit space bar. Could anyone please tell me how to take this two things out, this is boarding me

This is a Word setting: Tools>Options>View. Uncheck items in the
"Formatting marks" section.

I'm guessing that you use Word as your email editor, and you have
somehow turned on "View Formating Marks".

You might see a paragraph mark, ¶ or "pilcrow", on the toolbar of your
email editor. Click on that.

I use Word 2000, and I press Ctrl-Shift-8 (Ctrl-*) to toggle this
view, but I don't know if that was a built-in shortcut or whether I
set it that way.
