How to synch 2 PDAs with 1 copy of Outlook?

My husband and I run a small business where we're out on the road all day and
use our PDAs extensively. We want to be able to see a combined calendar and
contact list, and want to be able to add new information while out of the
office that the other person will be able to see on their PDA after the next
synch. We're thinking that we want to synchronize to one desktop copy of
Outlook to make that happen. Can 2 PDAs synch to one copy of Outlook and
merge all information? How do you set that up?

Thanks,
Mary

Probably. Depends on the PDA & sync software. What kind?
Also - you might be able to set up seperate user accounts in Windows, and
set up Outlook in each to access the same PST file - not sure if this will
work; depends on what kind of handheld & sync software you use.

We use Dell Axim X5 PDAs, Outlook 2000 and ActiveSync 3.7.

I tried setting up a new partnership for the 2nd PDA and managed to synch
both PDAs to the single copy of Outlook. Preliminary tests look great -
exactly what we had hoped for - a completely integrated version of 2 PDAs
with the one copy of Outlook. I have tested adding, changing, deleting appts
from all angles, and have not managed to trip up the process at all.

Thanks,
Mary

Glad it's working.
