Transferring folders requires use of IMAP. As far as I know, Yahoo only
provides POP access to their accounts. POP only understands a mailbox,
not folders. There are no commands in the POP language to select or
handle folders.
You never identified WHICH regional Yahoo domain under which is your
account. If it is Yahoo.com then you need a *paid* account to access
their POP/SMTP mail hosts.
You can't. To synchronize folders requires IMAP access, and Yahoo! Mail doe
not offer IMAP access.
If you pay for a Yahoo! Mail Plus account ('yahoo.com', or 'yahoo.ca'), or
have a "cc" domain free Yahoo! Mail account ('yahoo.com.au', or
'yahoo.co.jp', or similar) you can access via POP3. But POP3 access will
delete the email from the Yahoo! server after it is downloaded by MS
Outlook, unless you manually configure OL to "leave messages on the server".
And only the Inbox is downloaded, not other folders.
