How to switch license server?

We are in the planning stage of moving a win2k terminal services licensing
server off to a different server/DC. I'd like to know how to perform this
operation with minimal impact. The new terminal service licensing server
will be activated of course, and old deactivated. Is it necessary to modify
the DefaultLicenseServer key on terminal servers to point to the new server?
Or will terminal servers automatically seek out a new license server when
the old license server is deactivated?

Since the new LS will run on a DC, it should be autodetected.
This assumes that you have *not* hardcoded the address of the
current LS into the registry of the TS. If you have done so, you
must change the registry key (or better, delete it completely).

If you have installed any TS CALs on the old LS, you will have to
move them to the new LS. This is done by phoning the
Clearinghouse.
