how to subtract time cards in minutes in excel

can excel be set up to allow the subtracting of time cards that are in hours
and minutes and give the answer in the same format?
 
Hi!

A1 = 3:00 PM
B1 = 11:00 PM

=B1-A1+(A1>B1)

Format the cell as [h]:mm
